Laser Skin Resurfacing removes the outermost layer of the skin, thus removing any blemishes, spots etc on outermost layer. We use Pico Laser instead of CO2 laser as we have seen Indian clients to be less receptive of the method with which CO2 laser works. While obviously, PICO laser is not as effective as the CO2 laser, but it brings satisfactory results, with only 25% of downtime as compared to deep peels or CO2 laser.
Laser resurfacing is safe and widely used.
Laser resurfacing requires sitting according to skin condition. Doctor advises after examination approximate number of sittings required for desired result.
Pico Laser effects are seen in 7-15 days. Peeling starts 3-4 days later, and fresh layer is visible in 7-15 days. Full effect is seen 2-3 months.
